Swimming yesterday - baby scrub jay
Yesterday when we were swimming we heard something rustling around in the bushes under the lemon tree. Mom went to look and it was a little scrub jay! He couldn't fly but most of his baby fluff was gone. He hopped over the pool wall and disappeared into the bushes. Mom was reading a book on American politics while we swam.

Ice cream social at our new school
Tonight we went to our new school and had ice cream. Mad Molecules was there making ice cream on the spot - using cream, sugar... and liquid nitrogen! It was fun!

Biking at the farm
We walked around the farm today and I rode my bike on the bumpy trail in the forest!
